Description

Kentucky, General Burnside Island State Park is located on General Burnside Island near the golf course.

Directions:

The campground is located on General Burnside Island in Burnside just .8 miles south of Sumerset on US Highway 27.  The park is located on a 400 acre island in the middle of the Cumberland River.

General Burnside Island State Park has 102 RV and tent camp spots available.  This is a seasional campground being open from mid-march through mid-November.  The park is located on Burnside Island however, the small town of Burnside is located nearby where you will find all the essential services.  There is an 18 hole golf course located at the campground.  Big rigs up to 60 feet can be accommodated in a limited number of camp spots.
