Directions:
From Los Angeles take the I-15 freeway east to the town of Baker. Exit onto highway 127 north. In approximately 60 miles take highway 190 west. Continue on highway 190 for approximately 35 miles until you reach Furnice Creek. Highway I-15, 127, and 190 are suited for large RV's. The campground is in the Furnace Creek Ranch center.

California, Furnace Creek Ranch(The Ranch) is a smaller campground with only 31 camp spots however, it's located right inside the Furnace Creek Ranch center(The Ranch). It's close to the Furnace Creek Lodge, Market, Buffet, and cafe. It's a great camp location if you are visiting Death Valley. Big rigs up to 45 feet can be accommodated. Most camp spots have some shade trees. Full hookups, restrooms, and showers are available. A dump station is available across the highway from the Furnace Creek Resort entrance.
Like most of Americas national parks, there are numerous things to see and do in Death Valley. Furnace Creek has a 19 hole golf course that is the lowest golf course in the world at -214 feet. The saying is: YOU'LL GET YOUR LOWEST SCORE EVER. Furnice Creek is an oasis in the middle of this vast and arid desert. There are four (4) campgrounds within walking distance to this Furnace Creek oasis. The campgrounds are Furnice Creek Campground, Furnice Creek Ranch Campground, Sunset Campground, and Texas Springs Campground.
