Kentucky, Fort Boonesborough State Park  There is a Loves Travel Stop at the Interstate-75 exit to the park.  

Directions:

Fort Boonesborough State Park is located near Richmond, KY. From I-75 exit 95 go 6 miles north on KY 627, turn right on KY 388 and the campground is the next left. From I-64 exit 94 go 3 miles south of KY 1958, turn right on KY 627 go 8 miles and then turn left on KY 388, the campground is the next left.

Fort Boonesborough State Park has 167 sites with electric and water hookups. The electric sites have 20A/30A/50A amp hookup. There are 3 dump stations.  There is a large wooded area contains 75 primitive sites without hookups. There are 14 overflow sites with hookups and an unlimited number of dry camping sites. The park has2 restrooms, 2 laundry rooms and 2 playgrounds.  The sites are varied from wooded to open areas. Each site contains a firering and a picnic table. There is a small grocery with a wide selection of items, including firewood and ice.  Reservations are available on reserveamerica.com.  The park is open all year.  The park is located right on the Kentucky River.
