Description

Washington, Falls Creek Campground, Olympic National Forest, is located on the south shore of Quinault Lake next to Falls Creek, a crystal clear stream, in the temperate rainforest.  Access to the Quinault National Recreation Trail System from the campground is just a short walk.  

Direction:

From Aberdeen, WA drive Highway 101 north 41 miles to Quinault Lake South Shore Road (66 miles south of Forks.) Turn onto South Shore Road. Falls Creek Campground is about three miles from 101, on the Quinault Lake South Shore Road, just beyond the Pacific Ranger District, Quinault Office.

Note: The turn off the South Shore Road into the campground is a very sharp left turn.

Falls Creek Campground is a seasional campground with just 21 RV or tent  camp spots available.  RV's to just 16 feet can be accommodated.  Most camp spots are not very large and can only fit an average size vehicle.  The campground is open from May through October.  Reservations are available at www.recreation.gov.  Drinking water and restrooms are available.  The campground has direct lake access and also a small launch ramp that is mostly for kayaks, nothing large.  Most spots have large pine trees for shade.  Campground roads and parking pads are all paved.  Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.  

Note:  All watercraft must be inspected before entering the lake.
