Estes Park KOA is open May 1 through October 15.  The campground has cottages, cabins, tent, and RV camp spots. The park is across the highway from Lake Estes and located just a mile from downtown.  Cell service is generally good from this location.  The parks WiFi and Cable TV worked well.  Some camp roads are paved but, not all.  The Estes Park Town Shuttle stops at the campground.  

 To enter Rocky Mountain National Park between May 28 and October 11 two things are required.  1) A timed entry permit.  2) A park pass or entrance fee.
