Description

California, Ellery Camp Campground, Inyo National Forest.  The campground does not have an address however, the campbase map provided under the MAP tab is accurate for the location of the campground.

Directions:

From the intersection of US 395 and CA 120 near Lee Vinng.  Go west on highway 120 also called Tioga Highway.  After approximately 14 miles, the campground will be on the left at Ellery Lake.

Comment

Ellery Camp Campground is located near the top of Tioga pass and the Tuolumne entrance of Yosemite National Park.  The campground elevation is 9500 feet.  There are 12 RV or Tent campsites.   Campsites can accommodate a 30 foot vehicle. Drinking water is available. Pit toilets are available.  Each campsite is equipted with a bear locker, fire ring, and picnic table.
 
The campground is a short distance from the Tuolumne entrance to Yosemite National Park.
 
Fuel and markets are available in Lee Vining and Tuolumne Meadows.  The Tuolumne Meadows market and fuel station is seasonal and only open during the summer months.
 
Tioga Highway is seasonal and closes during the winter due to snow.
 
The campground is located in the Inyo National Forest.
 
Use caution, the campground is in an active bear area.
