Description

Oregon, Douglas County Fairgrounds RV Park.  The park has easy big rig access from Interstate-5.

Directions:

Northbound on Interstate-5, nearing the town of Roseburg, take Heritage Way/SW Portaland Ave.  Go right onto SW Portland Ave. and then another quick right onto Fair Drive.  Continue on Fair Drive for about one mile to the end and the campground will be right there.

Douglas County Fairgrounds RV Park is open all year with just 48 RV only camp spots available.  There is no tent camping allowed.  Big rigs to just about any size can be accommodated with pull through sites and full hookups.  Most spots have grass but, no shade.  There is some freeway noise with the interstate running past the park.  This might be the perfect spot while fairs are in progress.  There is an automotive race track and museum located at the fairgrounds.  Campground roads are paved and parking pads are crushed rock. Spaces are all level.  There are no services available near the park but, most can be found in the small town of Resenburg nearby.  Each camp spot has a picnic table but, fire rings were not available.  The restrooms and showers are located outside of the RV park in the fairground area.  Reservations were not available, first-come, first-served.  The park has a 14 day stay limit.  Extended stay is not available.
