California, Dorabelle Campground.  The campground is located on Shaver alake.

Direction:

From Clovis: Take Highway-168 north for 49 miles to the town of Shaver Lake.Turn right on Dorabelle Road and go .5 miles to the campground.Campground registration information is at the campground entry station.

Dorabelle Campground is a popular family camping destination above Shaver Lake with direct lake access.  Some sites are shaded by a thick stand of fir, cedar and pine trees, while other sites are more open.  The park is open from May theough September.  68 camp spots are available.  The campground is located within a short walking distance from downtown Shaver Lake where you will find, restaurants, pizza, and markets.  Campbase recommends RV's no larger than 28 feet although some sites can accommodate larger vehicles.  Access highway-168 is winding and narrow in some spaces making access more difficult but, not impossible.
