Utah, Devils Garden Arches National Park

Directions:

From highway I-70 head southbound on highway 191.  Approximately two miles before the city of Moab is the park entrance on the left.  Enter the park and proceed 18 miles to the end of the park road.  The park road ends at the campground.

There is also a great information center right inside the park entrance.  It's visible from the highway and there is plenty of RV parking.

Note:  The campground does not have an address.  The address entered here maps to the park entrance.  The campground is 18 miles inside the park.

Devils Garden, Arches National Park is a drivers park due to the distances between view points.  The campground is located 19 miles from the parks entrance.  Arches is known as a red rock wonderland due to the numerous rock monoliths throughout the park.  The park also has over 2000 natural rock arches.  Great opportunities for photographers.

BIKING IN THE PARK:

The parks roads can be narrow, winding, and without bike lanes.  However, there is a bike path at the entrance to the park that runs several miles and ends up in the city of Moab.  It's a fantastic trail.  Mountain biking is also popular in the park.

Campbase recommend RV's larger than 30 feet stay in one of the campgrounds near Moab(just a recommendation).  Several are available close to town and Moab is a great place for fun and entertainment.  Several campgrounds are located within three miles of the parks entrance.  Please see the list at the bottom of this page.

There are no shuttle busses in the park.

Note:  Black Bears have been seen in Devels Garden Campground.  Store food properly.

Fuel is not available at the campground.  The closest fuel is in Downtown Moab, 25 miles from the campground.
