Decatur/Wheeler Lake KOA

Directions:

From I-65: Take Exit 340 and travel West on ALT 72/Hwy 20. After crossing the Tennessee River, keep right for ALT 72/Hwy 20. Travel approx 17 miles.  Look for the brown TVA Mallard Creek Recreation Area sign. Turn right, this is CR 400/Mallard Creek Rd. Go 4 miles, turn right at the KOA sign.

From Florence: Go E approx 29 miles on ALT 72/Hwy 20. Watch for brown TVA Mallard Creek Recreation Area sign. Turn L onto CR 400. Go 4 miles. After KOA sign, turn R on CR 443 into campground.

Decatur Wheeler Lake KOA is open from March 1 through November 30.  Pull through sites up to 75 feet are available. Wifi available.  The park is located on the Tennessee River with direct access.  There is a boat launch and dock in the park.  The park also has a beach.
