Cypress RV & Mobile Home Park is a older established campground for RV only in the downtown Morro Bay Area.  No tenting available at this location.  36 spaces, full hookups, Wi-Fi, Cable TV, laundry, and showers.  No fire rings and open fires are not allowed.

It's the closest park to the marina and water front.  It's just a 2 block walk to shops and restaurants. This is an older park with some extended stay.  

The Morro Bay Trolley stops at the campground.  It's a great system and a good way to get around in Morro Bay.  $1 per ride or $3 per day.  Drivers were very helpful with Morro Bay information.

There are numerous great sea food restaurants in the downtown area.  Campbase especially liked the Lil Hut Sea Food down on the waterfront.  Good prices, large portions and great food.  Campbase also visited the Pizza Port.  It's located just 3 blocks south of the campground, on Main Street.  It's really good pizza and a fun place to hang out. 

Local Recreation:

Ocean activities are popular in this area.  Kayak rentals are available in the marina less than a mile from the campground.

Sight seeing on Highway 1 towards the north is popular from this location.  There are spectacular ocean views.  Hurst Castle State Park is also located on highway 1 just an hour to the north. 

If you like golf, the Morro Bay State Park Golf Course is located approximately one mile to the south of the campground.
