The park has cottages, tenting, and RV sites. A great location and a great state campground. It's a short walk to the Crystal Cove Shopping center. There are several restaurants and gift shops there. It's located just north of the campground. A short drive south to Laguna Beaches Main Street are more shops and a nice area to walk. See the pictures tab for things to do downtown. Make sure you stop at the Scandia Bakery and Deli, it doesn't get much better than that. Also, don't miss the candy or ice cream shops. The Madison Square Garden restaurant was a great place to eat but is driving distance south of the park on PCH.
Ground fires are not allowed in the park. Each campsite is surrounded by chaparral brush and there is to great a possibility of brush fires.
Campground showers are coin operated.
The campground is part of a large wilderness area. Walking and mountain bike trails lead to panoramic views in the park. If you have a mountain bike, you will have a wonderful time. Bring plenty of water on your adventures, it gets very hot in the summer.
A beautiful beach is part of the campground. Down on the beach you can usually find surf board and paddle board lessons and rentals. Please see the pictures tab.
A few miles north of the campground is Sherman Library and Gardens. Located at 2647 East Coast Highway, Corona Del Mar. Sherman Library & Gardens is a 2.2 acre Corona del Mar horticultural retreat. The Gardens provide a museum of living plants, displayed amidst a setting of immaculate gardens, patios and conservatories linked together by wide brick walkways, beds blooming with seasonal flowers and bubbling tile fountains. It's a wonderful spot to spend some time. Please see the link on the right side of this page.
There are two restaurants inside the park but, they are approximately two miles from the campground. They are both a long walk on the walking path but, worth the effort. The Shake Shake and the Beachcomber can be found while walking north on the beach walking /biking trail. See the links on the right side of this page. In the same area of the restaurants are beach cottages that are available for rent. The cottages are on the beach but not close to the campground.
