Coyote Cove Lakeside Camping is open all year with tenting, group, and RV camp spots.  It's located on the north end of Lake Elsinore with most services available nearby.  Extended stay spots are available.  The park has direct access to Lake Elsinore with some spots having a lake view.  Dry sites and full hookup spots are available.  The campground has a restroom with showers and laundry room.  Camp spots are level with shade trees available in some locations.  A Small boat launch is available but, it's not recommend for boats larger than 18 feet.  Campbase estimates that RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated.  Pets are allowed.

Lake Elsinore is Southern California's largest natural, fresh water lake.  Higher than normal temperatures and the California drought are having a negative affect on the lakes health.  Lake algie toxin levels may be elevated in late summer and early fall.  The city recommends not to have body contact in the lake while algie levels are elevated.  If you do come in contact with the water it's important to rinse off with fresh water as soon as possible.  Pets should also remain clear of the water.  Fish die-off may also occur under certain conditions.

Local Recreation:

Lake activities are popular from this campground.   Boating, fishing, and kayaking are available to campers.

Road touring is popular on Ortega Highway.  The access to Orteng Highway is just a short distance from the park.  It's a popular destination for motorcycling.
