Oregon, Cottonwood Canyon State Park
Directions:
From the town of Wasco, Oregon, take Highway 206 southbound. After several miles you will approach the John Day River and the Cottonwood Bridge. Just before the River and bridge take a right onto the Cottonwood entrance road. The sign should also say information center. The campground is just beyond the information center.
Note: if you cross over the John Day River, you have gone to far.

Cottonwood Canyon State Park Campground This is a remote area, there are no services near the campground. The campground is open all year with 21 primitive RV and tent camp spots. Hike/bike and group spots are also available. There are also vault toilets and drinking water. No cell service in the campground. The maximum site length is 75 feet. The campground has John Day River access.
