Directions:

From downtown Mt Vernon take highway 26/395 to the east for approximately two miles. The campground entrance should be on the right side.

Clyde Holliday State Recreation Area has two yurts, tenting and RV camp spots. The campground is seasional being open from March 1 through November 30. Pull through and electric camp spots are available. The largest camp spot is 95 feet long. The park borders the bueatiful John Day River one of Oregons most pristine rivers. Cottonwood trees provide shade for most camp spots. The closest services can be found in Mount Vernion approximately 2 miles west of the campground.
