Directions:

From Sacramento: take Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe. Go straight thru the in-town stoplight onto Highway 89 North (2.5 miles) toward Emerald Bay. Camp Richardson Hotel and Resort will be on the right hand side. The RV park is n the left side next to Tahoe Mountain Sports.

Camp Richardson RV Village has approximately 100 RV only camp spots. The RV Village is directly across from the Camp Richardson Hotel. Badger's Den Campground and the Eagle's Nest Campground at the resort are for tenting. The RV Village is nestled in a tall pine forest with shaded camp spots. Full hookups, restrooms and showers are available. Camp roads and pads are crushed rock. The village is located across highway 89 from Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is walking distance from the RV Village however, there is not a lake view or direct lake access. At the campground entrance can be found the hotel, cabins, Mountain Sports Shop, Coffee shop, icecream shop, and a small market. Ice is available at the market. All reservations are by phone. No pets allowed.

Local Recreation:

There is just about everything you could imagine to do in the area at Camp Richardson.

There is an extensive and paved bike path that leads away from the resort and into the beautiful national forest. Its quite a nice bike path and suitable for all ages. Bikes can be rented at the Camp Richardson bike shop.

The Camp Richardson Corrals and Pack Station is located at the resort. Public riding is available.

The Camp Richardson Marina on Lake Tahoe offers a boat dock, slips, boat rentals and much more. There is a beautiful beach at the marina so its a great place to spend the day.

The Nevada gaming casinos are just across the state line in South Lake Tahoe. Its approximately 10 miles away
