Camden Hills State Park is seasional being open from April through October.  The campground has RV and tent camp spots.  Restrooms, showers, drinking water and a dump station are available inside the park.  Some spots have electric and water hookups.  Sewer connections are not available.  Big rigs up to 45 feet can be accommodated in a limited number of camp spots.  Picnic tables and fire rings are provided.  Most camp spots have large shade trees.  Camp roads and parking pads are all dirt.  The campground does not have direct ocean access or an ocean view.  Beach and ocean access is located in another section of the park across Highway-1.  The nearest services are in downtown Camden, Maine where you will find fuel, restaurants, and markets.  Cell service was good from this location.

Please see our RATES tab for the parks on-line reservation system.  In September the park stops using the reservation system and all camp spots become first-come, first-server.

Depending on the time of year, many areas in Maine may have ticksbees, and mosquitos.  Due to the potential problems posed by these insects it's best to arrive prepared should these insects become a nuisance.  Campbase recommends screen enclosuresrepellantsbug zappers, and mesh net hats.  Please click these links to see our recommended items.
