Description

California, Calico Ghost Town Campground has easy access from Interstate-15.  The campground is located at the ghost town.  This is a San Bernardino County Park.

Directions:

From Interstate-15 in the town of Yermo.  Take the Ghost Town Road exit and go North.  Follow the Ghost Town signs.  After just two miles the Ghost Town entrance will be on the left side of the highway.

Calico Ghost Town Campground is open all year with approximately 265 RV or tent camp spots.  Camp cabins are also available.  The campground has full hookup sites, electric only sites and tent sites.  Restrooms, showers and a dump station are available.  The campground is located at the Ghost Town so there are plenty of things to do at this location.  Summer temperatures can be extreme, in the 100's, so the best time of year to visit is fall, winter, and spring. 

Local Recreation:

The Calico Ghost Town is a great way to spend the day.  There is a train ride, gold panning, and restaurants.  Please see our photos tab for pictures of the ghost town. 

Peggy Sue's diner is located in Yermo just a few miles from the campground.  It's a very popular spot and is usually very crowded.

Just a short ways away is the Outlets at Barstow.  There are shops and things to purchase at discount prices.
