Cal Expo RV Park is located at the California State Fair.  Open all year with Approximately 115 RV only camp spots.  Big rigs up to 60 feet can be accommodated in the overflow yard however, most camp spots accommodate 38 foot RV's.  This is an asphalt parking area and there aren't many shaded spots.  Pull through, full hookups, laundry, and WiFi are available.  The WiFi was amazing, really fast.  Cellular service will be great for most carriers since the park is lcated near the downtown area.  Its actually quite fun to stay here when the fair is in town.  There is also the water park at the fair.  The fair entrance fee is just $12 and there is a fair bus that runs past the campground every 20 minutes.  In addition to the numerous things to do from this campground, there is also the American River Bike Trail that runs for several miles and goes right past the campground.  Its a paved bike trail.  The park atmosphere is adult-quiet.  No fire rings, No Cable TV, No tenting.  All-in-All, its a great place to stay.
