Ohio, Buckeye Lake/Columbus East KOA Holiday

Directions:

On Interstate-70, take the Hebron Road exit(Also called Exit-129).  Go Southbound on Hebron Road(Hwy-79) through the small town of Buckeye Lake.  After about a mile, take a right onto Park Avenue.  Travel through town on park avenue for less than one mile and the campground will be on the right side.

Buckeye Lake KOA Holiday is open from April 1 through October 31 with tent and RV camp spots.  Rv's up to 85 feet can be accommodated.  Camp roads and parking pads are all crushed rock.  Most spots are shaded with full hookups.  Cell service was good at the park.  The park has restrooms with showers and a laundry.  Buckeye Lake State Recreation Area is located nearby however, the campground does not have direct lake access.  The state park located nearby has a launch ramp making this a great camp spot for boaters.  Fishers Marina is also located nearby.

The Buckeye Lake Historical Society and Museum is proud to announce that the Queen of the Lake III restoration project is finished, and the 88 foot sternwheeler will be cruising the shores of Buckeye Lake for the 2021 season. Buckeye Lake Bike Trail.  Please see our photos tab for pictures of the paved bike trail.  Its a really nice paved trail that runs on the dam alongside the lake.  Quite plesent really.

Buckeye Lake Boating.  Buckeye lake is a large lake with numerous marinas and launch ramps.
