Directions:
 
From the intersection of highway 78 and the Great Southern Overland Stage,Route(S2), proceed south on the S2 for approximately four(4) miles.  The campground entrance will be on the left side of the highway.  
 
The Campbase map is accurate for the location of the campground.

Comment

Blair Valley Camping Area, Anza-borrego Desert State Park.  The camping area is located in a remote section of the Anza Borrego State Park.  The only amenity available is a vault toilet.  There is a small market located 1 mile to the North at the Stagecoach Trails RV Resort.  The closest fuel is 20 miles away in Julian(not verified).  This is an primitive open camping area that has approximately 25 camp spots.  Camp spots are not marked.  There is no fee for camping in this area.  Both tent and RV camping is allowed.  Big rigs can be accommodated up to 50 feet.  There are no shade trees.  There is NO cellular service available.  Off-roading is not allowed and all vehicles must stay on existing roads.  Summer tempratures can be extreme and tend to drive campers out of the area.  

The Stagecoach Campground to the north and the Butterfield Campground to the south may have the essential necessities most campers need.  Ice, firewood, drinking water, a dump station, and a small market are available.
