Description

California, Albion River Campground is located on the Albion River with easy access from Highway-1. 

Directions:

From U.S. 101 at Cloverdale California:
 
Take SR 128 W 56 miles to where SR128 becomes N. Highway 1/CA-1.  Take N Highway 1/CA-1 north 3.5 miles to where you cross the Albion River Bridge. Immediately after crossing the bridge take the first right at the Albion River Campground sign. The campground is on the river below the bridge.
 
From Fort Bragg, California
 
Head south on N. Highway 1/CA-1 for 16 miles. The campground entrance is the second left after you pass the Albion River Inn. The campground entrance will be on the left immediately before the Albion River Bridge. Look for the Albion Campground sign on the left side of the road at the entrance.
 
Note: The County road accessing the campground has a 14% down grade with a switchback curve mid-way down.  Observe the county's 5 MPH and Circle Curve signs. Take the turn "WIDE" and you should not have any problem.  Note, the second picture in our Photo tab is the entrance road.

Albion River Campground has approximately 100 RV or tent campsites at this location.  Big rigs up to 40 feet with full hookups can be accommodated.  The campground is located at a great spot on the Albion River.  Ocean access is just a short distance away down the Albion River.  There is a boat launch and boat berth at this campground.  Parking pads are all grass with each Camp spot having a picnic table and fire ring.  The campground has a restroom, showers, laundry, and RV dump station.  

Local Recreation:

Fishing, boating, and kayaking are popular from this campground.  Kayak rentals are available at the campground.  There is also a kayak launch available.
